Make Electricity
A Great Science Project for
8th graders
When MiniScience.com created the make electricity science kit it had no idea
it would turn on to be the greatest project offered. It quickly surpassed
all other projects as the single, most popular kit offered. If you think
about it, it is no surprise that making electricity is so popular. When
Benjamin Franklin first discovered electricity with his kite and key everyone
thought he was crazy. Today, however, electricity is the basis for many
products we use everyday. Without electricity we would still have to use
candles as our source of light, there would be no phone, television, or
computers. In fact, without electricity you would not be able to read this
website. Therefore, I cannot stress the importance of electricity enough.
Make electricity science kit
 Making electricity from chemicals is
based on the same scientific principles on which all modern batteries work. You
insert copper and zinc electrodes in an acidic liquid and produce some
electricity from the chemical reaction between your electrodes and electrolyte.
The electricity produced in this way will be shown by a volt meter that is
included in your kit.
